Drop in at Sparrow Wine Bar for a relaxed, flavorful journey through four hand-selected wines, each thoughtfully paired with artisan cheeses curated to bring out the best in both. 

Whether you're a seasoned enthusiast or just curious, this come-and-go tasting offers a chance to connect with fellow wine lovers and engage with wine and cheese professionals from Euphoric Cheese Shop and Sparrow Wine Bar.

On the cheese side, Amy Burritt, Co-Owner of Euphoric Cheese Shop and Sparrow Wine Bar, brings her seasoned expertise and love for all things dairy. A second-generation cheese enthusiast, Amy grew up surrounded by specialty foods—her parents founded South Slope Cheese Co. in Asheville, NC—so her passion runs deep. Amy brings humor, fun facts and an ever-changing favorite cheese to the table—be sure to ask her what she’s loving right now!

On the wine side, Mandy Glenn, card-carrying member of the passionate-about-wine population and bartender at Sparrow Wine Bar, will decant her wine knowledge for your enjoyment. Mandy's obvious love for and contagious curiosity about wines, from the stories behind the bottle to the flavors inside it, will leave hearers thirsting for more.

How it Works:

When you purchase your ticket, choose your event time in the "Select Time" section. When the event ends, you're welcome to take your wine next door to Euphoric Cheese Shop to sip and shop. The wine bar will open for regular service at 3pm.

  • Cost: $45/person + taxes/fees

We’ve designed Sparrow with your comfort and relaxation in mind, including leather sofas, velvet chairs, cushioned bar seats, soft lighting, warm colors and an unpretentious approach to wine and cheese.

Sparrow is a place where you can meet with friends and loved ones, or bring a book or journal and find the space for leisure. We keep the music volume low enough so you can engage in conversation or let your mind wander.

On the wine list you’ll find 60+ wines from around the world, plus beer, cider and non-alcoholic beverages.

Our food menu features small bites, cheese flights, charcuterie boards and a selection of decadent desserts, including our already popular Dessert Board.

On those perfect-weather days, our patio is an excellent space to share a bottle of wine — and dogs are welcome on the patio too.

There’s no need to make reservations — our seating is first-come, first-served.
