Description
To get to the heart of food and wine pairings, we are diving deep into the chemistry behind flavor, aroma and taste.
We have paired four wines with some common flavors in food to help you understand how these complex molecules interact and enhance each other.
Join us in our virtual tasting (via Zoom) where our Head Sommelier, Nick Oliveiro and co-hosts, will discuss and taste along with you. Ask questions, engage and have fun in this lockdown-appropriate activity.
Based on the book 'Taste Buds and Molecules' by award-winning Canadian Gastronomist, Francois Chartier, we will explore his principles and test this theories on food and wine pairings.
In this tasting you will receive:
4 glasses (100mL) of wine.
4 food-based snacks, paired with each wine.
There are two types of ticket available for purchase:
PICKUP
The wines will be ready for Pickup in our Wine Shop (373 Queen Street West, Toronto) from Saturday, April 10
DELIVERY (ONTARIO-WIDE)
We will deliver the wines to you via our courier service on or before Tuesday, April 13

All alcohol sales must be accompanied with food. Our delivery fee also includes a complimentary house made cookie.
To place and/or receive a liquor order, you must be 19 years of age or older and must present valid government issued identification which matches the payment details provided during online checkout.
Our delivery partner may request to see this ID at the time of delivery.
Liquor will not be sold or supplied to any person who is, or appears to be, intoxicated
