Description
Learn from Gardener and Wildlife biologist Kayla how to attract, maintain and properly care for wild birds in your landscape. From plantings, to tips and tricks of what to do and not to do, Kayla will give you excellent ideas for how you can enjoy more birds in your gardens all winter long. There is nothing more delightful than creating an environment that attracts and fosters wildlife.
This class is both lecture and workshop, where the workshop portion is making a suet feeder you can take home to hang in your garden or patio area. (Please note: suet is beef tallow or fat, and is a suitable medium for birds in the winter)
This class will not feature live birds, and we do not promote or condone the catching or keeping of wild birds as pets - simply to enjoy wildlife, and to create and nurture habitat that is suitable for wild birds.
Class will be held on Saturday, December 3rd at 10:00am. Late arrivals will miss part of the lecture portion of the class, as we can no longer delay class start times for latecomers.
All tickets are non-refundable, but are transferable to another person in the event you are unable to make the class.
