Description
Enjoy an afternoon of creativity as you nip and chip your way into a beautiful glass landscape on Sunday, January 10th at 1PM! Channel your inner Bob Ross and craft your own handmade winter landscape while learning the techniques needed to cut and shape glass.
In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll learn basic warm glass techniques to create a small landscape approximately 4x4. Learn how to chip and nip your glass and carefully place each piece to create your desired design--its a lot like a colorful puzzle. No experience is necessary; ICCGS instructors will guide you through every step of the process.
After the workshop, your landscape will be returned to Iowa Ceramics Center for firing where they will professionally finish your piece before it is ready for pickup 3 weeks later. Your finished project will come with a small wood tripod to proudly display your work!
Gather your friends, enjoy a glass of wine, and create a one-of-a-kind piece you'll be proud to show off at your next gathering.
Tickets: $55/person | Ages 21+ | No experience necessary | Finished pieces available for pickup 3 weeks after the workshop.
