WINTER WONDERLAND IPHONE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP WITH PHOTOGRAPHER MIKE CAPLAN

Description

Winter is a time of quiet beauty in Door County. Photo opportunities abound from snow-flocked trees to glimmering ice in the landscape. Why then do so many winter photos we see on social media or our own phones look dingy and gray?  Join professional photographer Mike Caplan Saturday February 3rd from 12:00-3:00pm as he explains how to avoid common mistakes made in winter imaging. He will also present some creative ways to elevate your winter photos beyond the ordinary. 

The first part of the workshop will be indoors at Articipation Gallery covering some of the basics of iPhone photography. The second half of the class will be outdoors so dress for the conditions! In the event of inclement weather such as heavy snow or ice which would make travel difficult, we will conduct the class indoors and work with food photography and still life with special attention to lighting.
