Description

With the arrival of the official ‘Room on the Broom' trail to Ushaw this autumn, join us for 'Witching Hour Wednesdays' after school activities.

In these sessions, make your own broomstick, wand and witches hat; take part in witchy arts and craft activities; and make new friends whilst chatting and drinking hot chocolate together in the great outdoors.

8th September - Every new witch or wizard needs a wand and a spellbook; join us to make your own wand- complete with it's unique core. Then decorate your spellbook and get writing those spectacular spells!

22nd September - A broomstick is the next piece of witchy kit you'll be making. Choose your own sticks and twigs and make yours as unique as you are. Then play a game of Quidditch with your witching hour friends.

6th October - Get arty this week, making marbley moon shadow pictures. Then play 'moon ball' together.

20th October - In our final 'witching hour' complete your witchy transformation by decorating your own witch's hat.

Each ticket includes a free hot chocolate from The Bounds Cafe.

Suitable for children aged 6 years and over.

There is no additional charge for adults, however a parent/guardian must remain on site.

Sessions will take place outdoors in all but extreme conditions (high winds/thunderstorms/ice) so please dress accordingly for the weather.
