Members of the Waxahachie Junior Service League make a six-year commitment to serve the community. Each member is required to work at least 60 hours per year as a community volunteer. WJSL raises money for the community through our annual Christmas Market, as well as sales of our cookbooks, which include “Gingerbread… and All the Trimmings,” an Ellis County favorite. WJSL’s Christmas Market raised more than $115,000 in 2019, all of which goes back into the community to support more than 20 non-profit organizations annually.

The WJSL Sparkle & Sleigh Christmas Market is on Saturday, December 6th, from 9am-4pm at the Waxahachie Civic Center in Waxahachie, Texas.
$10 Admission includes:
•Shopping access to over 100 unique hand selected vendors

The mission of the Waxahachie Junior Service League is to foster interest among its members in the social, economic, educational, cultural, and civic conditions of Ellis County, with a focus on organizations that serve women and children. Our goal is to provide volunteer services and donate funds to strengthen and improve these conditions in our community.
