Session 1: New to Ray's Fundamentals
Are you new to Ray’s and want a solid foundation to feel more comfortable riding indoors? This clinic is for you! (no prerequisite skills)
We'll work on balance and stability, range of motion on the bike, navigating the park, and more
This class is ideal for new riders or for riders who have never taken a lesson or clinic and want to learn skills needed for higher level skills.
Session 2: Beginner Fundamentals
Foundation and Fundamentals: not just for new rider! They are necessary for EVERY level of rider. Difficulties with advanced skills and techniques often stem from a lack of one or more fundamental skills. (no prerequisite skills)
We'll expand on balance and stability, range of motion on the bike, and expand on the basics.
This is class is ideal for riders who want to learn skills needed for higher level skills.
Session 3: Pumping and Bermed Corners
Pumping is such a dynamic and powerful maneuver on the bike. If executed properly it helps a rider gain momentum without pedaling.
In this session we will cover the foundation for pumping and momentum-generation.
This session may also cover cornering, manual front wheel lifts as added techniques that will help you feel better riding pump tracks.
As you achieve more flow on pump tracks, you will notice your mountain biking skills get a boost too.
We do recommend taking a 101 or 102 course OR a private lesson prior to taking this course.
Session 4: Slow speed balance and skinnies
Hone in your slow speed riding skills and balance.
This session will introduce track stands, ratcheting, riding straight lines, slow speed turns, line choice, and skinnies.
Slow speed balance ultimately makes you a faster and smoother rider!
This course is open to all level riders.
Session 5: Wheel lifts
Are you ready to get your wheels intentionally off the ground? We'll explore the techniques to lift the front, rear, and both wheels off the ground
This course is open to all level riders EXCEPT new/novice riders.
Session 6: Pumping and Bermed Corners 2

Session 7 Open Skills Class
Join both coaches for an open style riders choice skills class. We’re opening it up and letting the participants choose which skills we work on or where/how to apply a skill. Majority votes choose the skills, but we will try to accommodate all requests.
Skills could include: pumping, slow speed bike handling (track stands, tight corners), wheel lifts (front, rear, manual, level lift), rolling drops (under 2 ft), applying a skill to the XC loop, and more.
$60 per participant
12:2 participant to coach ratio
