We're excited to bring you the newest whimsical experience in Sackets Harbor - Wonderland in the Harbor!
We welcome everyone to walk through the streets of Wonderland in the Harbor free of charge. Many of our restaurants and shops will be decorated and staff dressed in character during the Wonderland weekend, offering specialty merchandise
Here's a sample of what you'll experience in Wonderland:
- Gem Quest (children's adventure) - $5 per child
- Character Quest (adult adventure)- $5 per person
- Wonderland trivia (adult activity) - included in character quest (Saturday only)
- Little Theatre performance: Alice in Wonderland (four show times)
- Mad Hatter's Tea Party (three seating times)
- Very Merry VIP ticket for all activities
Registration opens Sunday, October 23, 2022.

Gem Quest is a children’s adventure through Wonderland looking for the good in ourselves and others. Pick up your map at the Forest of Wonder (Watertown Savings Bank) then collect gemstones representing the various character attributes that we want to emulate. The final destination is with the King of Hearts inviting you to celebrate at a Very Merry Un-birthday party using your gemstones to decorate a crown honoring your uniqueness.
Participants receive a wristband, an organza bag to collect the gems, and a crown to decorate at the Very Merry Un-Birthday Party.
Character Quest (adults): Wonderland is for all ages so don’t miss out on the fun! The Character Quest begins at the Forest of Wonders (Watertown Savings Bank) where you pick up your game board and go on a quest to find and interact with the characters from Wonderland.
Wonderland Trivia (adults - Saturday only): Meet at 2-3:30 pm for Trivia with our host Brian Topping, who will challenge your mind while providing an entertaining trivia contest. This is a two part activity and you may choose to participate in just the quest or the trivia or both and have a chance to win over $100 in prizes.
Mad Hatter’s Tea Party – Enter the Garden in Wonderland, Just in Time for Tea! Toast the silliness of unanswerable riddles, nonsensical poems, and get ready to switch seats with the Mad Hatter, the March Hare and Alice!
Each character will be available for photos and interaction while you enjoy a bottomless cup of tea, finger foods and frolicking fun. Delight your senses and sensibility at the beautiful, historic ballroom decorated in full Wonderland style. Three seatings to chose from (30 only at each tea party)
Little Theatre performance of Alice in Wonderland: Children have always been fascinated by Alice’s strange and exciting adventures in Wonderland. Now they can actually join Alice in her travels. In this remarkable adaptation of the Lewis Carroll classic, Willard Simms has created a Wonderland especially made for children.

Q: What's included in a VIP Pass?
A: Very Merry VIP Pass includes (one adventure, one performance, tea party) and a Wonderland button - $30
Q: Do I have to bring my printed ticket to Wonderland?
A: While it's not required, we strongly recommend that you bring your printed ticket to Wonderland in case there are any issues with your registration.
Q: What is the refund policy?
A: We are not able to issue refunds for any event registrations after November 12, 2022.
