Woodblock Printing Workshop with Karina Andrews of Oyster Hill Press
Join local woodblock print artist Karina Andrews in a very special Stormy Weather Arts Festival workshop! In this hands-on workshop, participants will draw, carve, paint, and print their very own block print piece.

Join local woodblock print artist Karina Andrews in a very special Stormy Weather Arts Festival workshop!
In this hands-on workshop, participants will draw, carve, paint, and print their very own block print piece. Guided step-by-step, you'll be immersed in the details of this art form from carving your own block to the technique of mixing ink and color-laying for the finished print. Each participant will carve their own block and have 1-2 final pieces printed to take home at the end of the workshop.
Participants will be creating their own one-of-a-kind print of Haystack Rock.
The 3-and-a-half hour hands-on workshop is $114 and includes all materials for the workshop.
In Cannon Beach, you can find Karina Andrews' artwork featured at the Stephanie Inn and at Shearwater Studio & Gallery. Karina's studio is located in Astoria where she hand-carves, cuts, prints, and creates all of her work. She also shows her work at many other galleries in the region.
