Flamenco Denver offer Workshops with professional dancers and musicians from Spain and around the U.S.This is a unique opportunity for Flamenco Denver to be able to bring artists of such renown to students in the Denver community.
CANTE Y PALMAS with FRANCISCO OROZCO "YIYI"
Workshops consist of 3 hours of instruction over the course of three days. Yiyi, will teach flamenco singing and palmas class designed specifically for flamenco dancers. In this class, students will explore the BULERIAS, letras, singing structures, and key rules for improvisation, along with other essential elements for effective communication within a cuadro (flamenco ensemble).

COMUNICACION EN EL BAILE POR BULERIAS
Workshops consist of 3 hours of instruction over the course of two days. Dancer Natalia Novela & Guitarist Jose Manuel Alconchel will break down the structure of flamenco forms, such as Bulerias to teach dancers how to provide clear signals through movement and shape, and how musicians can anticipate these cues to offer appropriate accompaniment and jaleo.
