Description

This 3-part workshop series is designed to guide beginners from idea to published book—without pressure, perfection, or prior experience. Led by Baroque Medusa, this class breaks down writing as a practice, not a talent, helping attendees build momentum, develop their voice, and turn their thoughts into real, tangible work.

Class 1 focuses on removing fear and overthinking so participants can start writing freely.

Class 2 helps attendees understand what they’ve created, identify themes, and explore publishing options including self-publishing and supported publishing.

Class 3 walks through the actual execution process—formatting, publishing on platforms like Amazon KDP, creating book covers, and launching their work.

Attendees will leave with clarity, confidence, and a realistic path to finishing and publishing their first book, along with optional ongoing support and guidance between sessions.

Those who sign up for the workshop would receive:

  • A notebook

  • A pen (my favorite writing pen!)

  • My contact information for support between classes and after

  • Access to my Google Drive folder where attendees can download class-related documents, including links to Calibre, Amazon KDP Previewer, Amazon KDP account tutorials, Amazon MS Word templates, and other helpful resources

For attendees who decide they’d like additional help, Baroque Medusa Media can offer full publishing support, with transparent fees and full creative control remaining with the writer.

This is a 3 class offering. Each class is $44. Below is all the things you will be going over. RSVP is suggested due to limited spacing, but drop-ins are welcome.

• Introduction to writing as a practice (removing fear, perfectionism, and overthinking)

• Building consistency, identity, and momentum as a writer

• In-class writing exercises and daily writing habits

• Review and refinement of written work (themes, voice, structure)

• Understanding different writing formats (poetry, prose, collections, etc.)

• In-class discussion, optional sharing, and guided support throughout the process

About your Practitioner:

Baroque Medusa writes unapologetic fiction, poetry, and manifestos defined by neon bright wit and high gloss intensity. Her work blends luxury aesthetics with razor humor and heat, centering agency, appetite, and power without apology.

Her books include My Vibe Is RICH AF (from Dayclub SEAZN), and many others! Each invites readers into bold, stylized worlds where desire drives the plot and consent is non-negotiable.

Beyond the page, Medusa is the founder of Baroque Medusa Media, an independent press built from her love of the creative process and her commitment to amplifying fearless voices. Through it, she cultivates a platform for indie authors who push boundaries, experiment with form, and refuse to dilute their work.

She is also a visual artist working in abstract distortions by photographing herself and then dissecting, manipulating, and reconstructing the images into new, unapologetically bold compositions. Her visual work mirrors her writing: intimate, disruptive, self-authored, and deliberately untamed. Select pieces and limited releases are available through her Etsy studioAbstract Distortions, where she shares collectible works born from this process.

Medusa also curates Dayclub SEAZN, a leisure-lifestyle extension of her aesthetic universe where strategy, art, money, and pleasure intersect poolside.
