Description

Have you ever imagined what the carvings and statues at Ushaw might do when there’s no one around?

Writer and storyteller, Elizabeth Baker, spends a lot of time creating stories about all sorts of fascinating ancient objects and she will share some ideas and resources to help you plan your own story.

Taking inspiration from the carvings in the chapel this workshop will look at how to create a story: from writing engaging beginnings and interesting main characters; to thinking about brilliant story endings.

By the end of the session you’ll hopefully have the outline of a story to take away and develop into your own masterpiece!

Suitable for ages 7+
