Board one of our vintage trolleys and embark on a picturesque journey down the historic Pine Street Line, lined with quaint homes. Let the rhythmic clatter of the trolley wheels transport you to a bygone era, as you take in the sights of beautifully preserved residences that tell a story of their own. Round-trip duration is approximately 30 minutes--great for small children!--but please budget a full hour to accommodate a tour of the historic facilities as well.
The adventure doesn't end with the trolley ride! During your visit, you can also check out the historic powerhouse, which still holds a fully intact set of 1911-vintage power generation and switching equipment. Be sure to ask your motorman for a tour of the impressive Carbarn shop facility too! The massive overhead crane and 1910 belt-driven machine shop are all in operating condition.
With a total visit time of about one hour, it's a convenient yet immersive way to step back in time and learn about the history of America's interurban electric railways.
Tickets are $5/person, round trip, for all ages. Children aged 2 and under, seated on a lap (not taking up a seat), may ride free.

The Yakima Valley Trolleys are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and all-volunteer organization that exists to preserve and share the incredible history of the Yakima Valley Transportation Company.
