You must bring your own yoga mat.
Class recommendations:
While not required, it's encouraged to also bring a yoga block, a notebook and pen for journaling, a water bottle, towel and comfortable clothes to move around in.
Class Description:
Infusing the practice of yoga to help hone your craft of performing improv.
Our 5-week Yoga Improv class is designed to help guide you on your own path to wellness and joy. These in-depth sessions are great for those of us dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, agoraphobia, or anything else this over-scheduled/over-committed life can throw at us.
Our yoga instructor, Justin Castillo will lead participants in uniting breath with body, offering a variety of poses accessible to all levels of yoga practitioners, including building strength in the core, balance in the body, as well as increasing flexibility and range of motion.
Our improv instructor, Devin Dugan, will then lead participants through aspects of improv as they perform different yoga exercises and correlate them to concepts of improvisation, leading to feeling better both physically and mentally, all while gaining the healing benefits of yoga and the healing laughs of improv.

Justin Castillo is a Yoga Alliance Member and currently teaches at Yogasix (Cypress & Long Beach) and UFC Gym (Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, Anaheim & La Mirada).
Devin Dugan is the Artistic Director of ImprovCity's Main Stage cast and has been performing improv for almost 30 years. He has performed, taught and trained with numerous troupes across the country including The National Comedy Theatre, The Second City Hollywood, ComedySportz, ComedyCity, and LA Connection.
