Our brewery sits on 4 acres of riverfront land just 2 miles outside Downtown Asheville. With us, you can enjoy one of the best views of the serene French Broad River with a beer in hand. We specialize in open fermented lager as well as open fermented farmhouse beer – a dichotomy that keeps us both grounded in tradition as well as pushing our own envelope.

Session Fest 2023 is on the horizon…
Session Fest is a day we dedicate to full flavored, full bodied low ABV beers. It’s a day to smash the notion that only high gravity beers are worth drinking - a fallacy that we unfortunately still hear quite often. It’s a day to highlight some of favorite brewers around the country whose beer is typically a little harder to come by in our area. These brewers are focusing on nuanced creations, paying special attention to the traditions and processes of making and drinking beautiful beer. To us, session beers are a conduit to connect friends, lose track of time, and share in an authentic, mostly lucid experience in which the rigors of the outside world might temporarily fade.
Similar to last year, we’re taking a tap takeover approach. It will be a small event, limited to approximately 250 people and 20 breweries. We want to keep it intimate, as if we’re having a backyard hangout at which we’ll be showcasing our guest breweries' beer to our community (and our beer too, of course). We’ll have some great food to complement the beers, as well as music.
