Gerry Potoka
Gerry Potoka started stand-up comedy because being a public educator just isn’t quite entertaining enough. Transplanting from Richmond County, North Carolina to Raleigh, Gerry’s personal experiences and perspectives offer a unique portrayal of his day-to-day life, career, thoughts, and feelings. Through performing up and down parts of the East Coast, having worked with Gaspare Randazzo and Sam Salem, featuring on Don’t Tell Comedy shows, as well as performing on and producing shows across North Carolina, Gerry is guaranteed to make you chortle (that is a smart people word for “laugh”).
Joel Fuster
Joel Fuster is a Bronx-born stand-up comic now living in North Carolina, which means he has strong opinions and a garage. A first-gen Dominican church kid turned married suburban man, Joel brings big-city energy into every room.
His comedy pulls from personal confessions, bruised ego, cultural whiplash, and the struggle of being too soft after being raised on the block. Loud when he needs to be, honest when he probably shouldn’t be. Featured on Don’t Tell Comedy and at Goodnights Comedy Club, come out and watch Joel deliver smart, silly stand-up.
Kenyon
After realizing that getting a decent SAT score wasn't Kenyon's true calling in life, he started stand up in high school and has gone on to open for Todd Glass, Tim Dillon, Ian Edwards, and Big Jay Oakerson. He has also appeared on Sirius XM. Kenyon is a regular at the Laugh Factory Chicago and Zanie's. Growing up biracial with disabled parents, Kenyon brings a unique perspective to the stage that has left audiences at clubs and festivals in ruins all over the country.
H.L. Boney
H.L. Boney is a rising force in the Triangle Comedy scene. With his laid back demeanor and thoughtful observations, he moves crowds of all walks of life. He burst onto the comedy scene in 2018 by advancing to the Semifinals in the Goodnights comedy contest in his first ever standup attempt. There were no open mics, nothing. Despite this lack of experience became one of the favorites of both rounds. Since then he is a finalist in Port City’s Top Comic Comedy Contest and two-time finalist in Goodnights North Carolina’s Funniest Comedy contest. He has developed a reputation of bringing consistent laughs over a span of 8 years throughout many shows in the Triangle. He recently released his debut comedy album, My Turn that is currently burning up the charts.
