Kick-off the holiday season right with two special nights of Zoo Lights just for Buffalo Zoo team members and your loved ones! See the Zoo in a different light as you stroll through our illuminated winter wonderland. Take in dazzling light displays (charge up your phone for those Instagram-worthy photos!), listen to holiday music, indulge in warm winter treats including a hot cocoa bar and s’mores, and much more. In addition to merry winter fun at the Zoo, you’ll be helping our Guest Experience team practice for our official Zoo Lights opening night on Saturday, November 27, 2021.
On Zoo Lights Friends and Family Nights, Buffalo Zoo employees enjoy:
- Complimentary access, including parking, for you and your loved ones to Zoo Lights.
- A $30 voucher (per employee) for use in Wild Burger, Comfort and Joy Hot Chocolate Bar (Slice Restaurant), Zootique or Buffalo Zoo photos. Voucher is valid for Zoo Lights Friends and Family nights only.
- Unlimited free rides on the Happy Holidays Express Train
- Raffle Entry for the Zoo Lights Very Merry VIP Package ($199.95 value) or Four By the Fireside Package ($65.95 value). No action required to enter. Your ticket reservation is your entry.

This truly unforgettable Zoo Lights experience includes four general admission tickets, a private outdoor lounge with vertical heaters for your exclusive use through the evening, and your own dedicated fire pit with s’mores to roast. Indulge in some cheesy fun with hot fondue and delectable dippables and sip on seasonal beverages, all served by your VIP attendant. The Zoo Lights VIP experience is for up to four guests; space is limited, so reserve today!
Four by the Fireside Package- $65.95
Four Pack Tickets, Four S’mores Kits, Four Visits to the Comfort and Joy Hot Chocolate Bar
Warm up even the chilliest nights at Zoo Lights with our Four by the Fireside package! You’ll receive four general admission Zoo Lights tickets, four kits to use for some fireside fun at our s’mores stop and four one-time visits to our Comfort and Joy Hot Chocolate Bar where you can indulge in rich cups of cocoa and mix-up the flavor at our toppings table.
PLEASE NOTE: Attendance at Zoo Lights Friends and Family Night is optional and is not mandatory for any Buffalo Zoo Employee.
