Event Description: Santa is Coming to The Barrel Room and He's Bringing Chesapeake Bay Distillery With Him.

Step into the Barrel Room for an unforgettable evening of bourbon tasting, cocktails and Santa!  This tasting features Chesapeake Bay Distillery's recent release of their Bay Bourbon #3 

Santa will also be sitting and sipping and you're all invited to snap some pics with him.  

Featuring Chesapeake Bay Distillery 

1. Bay Bourbon #3 (just released, 1.5 oz pour)

  • Aged 4 years expect rich corn notes on the nose with a smooth clean finish, 84 proof, toasted corn on front with a lingering sweet fig finish. 1 oz pour

2. Demo of Smoked Old Fashioned

  • .Nina will lead a demonstration of making a smoked old fashioned using a stave from the barrel that aged Bay #3 Bourbon.  Guests will receive a piece of the stave to make your own smoky old fashioned at home.

3. Additional Cocktail:  Enjoy a delicious after tasting cocktail (Old Fashioned, New Fashioned, Smoky Old Fashioned, Salted Caramel Martini or Dessert Cocktail) made with Chesapeake Bay Distillery Spirits.

  • Welcoming Cocktail: Start the evening with a classic Old Fashioned or a trendy New Fashioned made with Chesapeake Bay's Bay Bourbon #2, setting the tone for a night of things to come.
  • Expert-Led Tasting: Led by Nina Burns, Chesapeake Bay Distillery, you'll learn about the distillery, their story and most importantly, you'll taste their great Virginia made products.
  • Demo of Smoky Old Fashioned:  Enjoy a demonstration of making a smoky old fashioned and get a keepsake
  • After Tasting Cocktail
  • Santa is coming to Town:  That's right!  Santa will be there and he's making his list and taking pics with you.  So dust off that Ugly Christmas Sweater and make a Christmas Card for the ages.
  • Commemorative Glass and stave: All attendees will receive a Chesapeake Bay Distillery Rocks Glass and a piece of the stave from the bourbon barrel to make your own Smoky Old Fashioneds at home.
