Improved ticket ordering and quantity control
Many improvements in today’s SimpleTix release!
We see a growing usage of customers now buying tickets on iPads, so we ensured their ticket ordering experience went smooth.
- We removed the tiny plus/minus buttons that were on the ticket selection form and replaced them with easier to touch buttons
- We made an enhancement to the interactive seating charts to now support iPad for ticket ordering
Another widely requested feature was for promoters to be able to pre-define the ticket quantities someone can buy. Like:”two packs” e.g. 2,4,6,8 or the ability to have a special “five pack price” where the customer must select 5 as the quantity.
You also have more control over where each ticket price group appears. For example you can have a price group only available on the box office or only available on your mobile site. These are the 5 environments you can choose from:
- Box Office
- Tour Kiosk
- Ticket Kiosk
Next month we will be enhancing our on premise POS apps: Tour Kiosk & Ticket Kiosk. This new feature will give venues the ability to charge different prices for tickets purchased ahead of time online vs at the venue.
A few bug fixes
- we improved the UI of the managers panel home page to make it load faster
- there was an issue with the World Pay gateway with clients that entered a middle name in their profile
