Selling Seats or a whole table for a Dinner Gala? SimpleTix has...

If you are going to be hosting an event that allows attendees to select a specific seat or table to sit at, SimpleTix is your solution!  With our reserved seating mode, you can upload the layout of all the tables and create an interactive seating chart out of it to allow attendees to choose where they sit!  It is a very easy way to let people sign up for an event, and also know where they are sitting!  With this information, you can then pass it onto a caterer if dinner choice was an option! Layout of an example dinner fundraiser! The yellow spots tell you that their is seats available. If you hover over the table, the tool tip will appear! After selecting the seat of your choice, you can hover over the seat and it will give you the seat information and price. After you click the seat of your choice, you can have different price groups for your dinner! Different prices for each seat give you all the flexibility you need for your event! As you can see, attendees can simply select where they will sit with relation to a stage or friends!

Easy Entry for Android is now out!

Use EasyEntry at your event to scan and validate SimpleTix eTickets. You can have many tablets with EasyEntry at different entrance points. After a ticket is scanned and validated it cannot be used again. Unveiling Easy Entry at the Madison Parade of Homes

EasyEntry was the Perfect Solution There were 6 locations this year at the Parade of Homes. Each ticket was allowed to visit all 6 sites. Resulting in over 26,000 ticket scans over the course of 2 weeks. EasyEntry was setup at all 6 Parade sites. EasyEnty was really easy for all the volunteers to use with just 5 minutes of training. re-Printing Made Easy With SimpleTix you can do a bulk order of tickets from the box office side of the app. The SimpleTix charge is just $0.29 per ticket on the box office side. The organizers can then choose a “bulk ticket” e-ticket layout and send the PDF file to their local print shop for printing. Minuteman Press charged just $416.20 for printing and cutting 12,000 tickets. (Prices per location may vary)

Release News! New seating chart improvements

Improved seat inventory tooltips As you hover over a section you can see how many seats are available in that section. These even update in real-time, as soon as anyone else buys a seat, the number instantly updates. Polygons now fully working Custom shapes worked before in SimpleTix, however if two custom shapes were close to each other often they overlapped and one area was not select-able. This was now been fixed. Quick link to tag sections There is now a direct link for you to be able to jump right into the section view of the seating chart and mange the seats tagged within that section. Before this you had to do this from the main venue view and then click into the section. This is much faster now. Clone a Section You can now clone an entire section. Including the seating chart mapping & tagging. If you have many sections that are very similar this is fast way to take care of setting up your inventory. In a recent project we setup and tagged the largest section first, and then cloned it for the other sections. Then finally removed the extra rows and seats in those new sections. This enabled us to complete a 8,000 seat venue in under and hour! Discount titles now on tickets Do you use the discounts per reserved seat event time feature?You now have the option to display the ticket discount title on both the order item title and on the ticket.

Canadian Cabaret uses SimpleTix seating charts for online ticketing

Who said that organizing a small evening of music and song is an easy task? Without the right approach it can be quite a fuzz. Canadian Cabaret decided to avoid the fuzz by using SimpleTix! For their coming event, Canadian Cabaret is using SimpleTix interactive seating chart for online ticketing. And guess what… the tickets are all sold out! Looks like Vancouver can’t wait until a dinner dance in a company of Argyle Jazz Band and Jazz Choir ensembles. The show starts at 7 pm and songs from the Motown era will last till midnight. All that Canadian Cabaret required to get started with SimpleTix was a seating chart from the school. The next step was to set the event details and upload a csv with seat inventory and ticket prices. Once a seating chart was uploaded and all of the seats were tagged, Canadian Cabaret became the one in charge. In just a few steps, they went from a system of having to email and call the event organizers - to a complete ticket portal with seating chart; all these in less than an hour. Now, with a personalized seating chart for online ticketing Canadian Cabaret displays real-time seat availability online. As soon as a customer selects a seat, it becomes unavailable on everyone else’s browsers. Traditionally you walk up to a bus ticket window, buy a ticket, and get a paper ticket like this. If you sell the shuttle bus tickets online the work flow is much different. When you sell shuttle bus tickets with SimpleTix, the end-users can have the tickets sent directly to their smart phones. This allows you to sell tickets anywhere, not just a single kiosk.
